People Hire People

Nobody hires a logo. They hire a person — and in a community like the Tri-Cities, they usually hire the person they feel like they already know.

That's what branding photography actually does. It introduces you before you've said a word.

When I photograph a business owner, I'm not collecting generic professional stock of you standing near a window. I'm looking for the reason you started, the way you work, what it feels like to walk into your space. Those are the images that make someone stop scrolling and think I want to work with her.

Custom Business Photography, Built Around You

No two sessions look the same, because no two businesses have the same story.

I plan yours around your brand's colors, your actual spaces, your tools, your process — and mostly around you, at ease and in your element. The result is a library of images that work everywhere you show up: your website, Instagram, your Google Business Profile, your newsletter, and the local feature you haven't landed yet.

What We'll Photograph

A branding gallery usually covers four things:

  1. You

portraits that feel like your brand rather than like a passport photo. These double as your headshots.

  2. Your work

hands, tools, process, craft. The evidence that you actually do the thing.

  3. Your space

the studio, shop, office or corner of the world where it happens.

  4. Your details

products, textures, materials, the small things your clients notice and you've stopped seeing.

About Usage Rights — Read This Part

This is where most photography gets confusing, so let me be plain.

personal print rights

When you book a family session, your images come with personal print rights: print them for your home, share them on social media, send them to grandma.

commercial usage license

When you book a branding session, you're getting something different — a commercial usage license. Those images are yours to use to promote your business: your website, ads, a business card, a billboard if you're feeling ambitious. That's why branding is priced differently from the start. You're not paying for more photographs; you're paying for broader rights to use them.

I'd rather explain this clearly up front than have you find out later that the photograph you loved wasn't licensed for what you needed. Book it as branding and it's covered.

Tri-Cities entrepreneurs, makers, wellness professionals, realtors, salons, boutiques, coaches and small teams. People whose business is personal.

If your clients choose you — your style, your process, the way you make them feel — rather than comparing your price list to someone else's, branding photography is built for you.

If what you need right now is one great portrait rather than a full library, that's a headshot, and that's a perfectly good place to start.

How It Works

  1. Strategy call.

Your business, where the images will live, and the shots that would actually move something for you — not a generic list.

  2. We plan.

Wardrobe, spaces, props, the order of the day.

  3. We shoot on location.

Your workplace, or a Tri-Cities spot that fits your brand. I'll guide you the whole time — feeling awkward in front of a camera inside your own business is completely normal and completely fixable.

  4. Your library arrives.

Warm, consistent, on-brand images sized for real use.

Branding Questions

What's the difference between branding photos and headshots?

A headshot is one great portrait of you. Branding photography is a full library — you, your work, your space, your details. Every branding session includes headshots, so if you're unsure, branding covers both.

Can I use these images for advertising?

Yes. Branding sessions include commercial usage rights, which is exactly what separates them from a personal session.

Where do branding sessions happen?

Usually at your place of business anywhere in Richland, Kennewick or Pasco. If you don't have a physical space, we'll choose Tri-Cities locations that match your brand.

Can my team be included?

Yes — team portraits and candid working shots are a natural part of many branding sessions.

How often should branding photos be updated?

Most businesses refresh once or twice a year as offers, spaces and seasons change. Headshots hold up longer — every two to three years, or after any big change.

What should I wear?

Your brand's colors, your real working clothes, and one more polished option. We plan it together — the goal is recognizably you, one notch elevated.
