I Bring the Studio to You
I don't have a studio, and for headshots that turns out to be an advantage.
I bring portable studio lighting and backdrops to wherever you work. I've photographed physicians' headshots by setting up in a clinic's lab room, and in an unused waiting area, and in a spare office nobody had touched in months. If you can give me a small corner and a little time, I can make it look like a studio.
Which means nobody on your team has to drive anywhere, block out an afternoon, or reschedule patients. That's usually the difference between a company finally updating its team page and putting it off for another year.
A Headshot You'll Actually Use
Your headshot arrives before you do. LinkedIn, your company's team page, the conference program, the proposal, the "about" page someone checks before they ever pick up the phone.
It deserves better than a cropped wedding photo or the one from three jobs ago that you keep meaning to replace.
Mine are warm and genuinely you — professional enough for the boardroom, human enough that someone feels like they've already met you. Which, in a community like the Tri-Cities, is most of the reason people call.
Even If You Hate Having Your Picture Taken
Most people who book headshots open with the same line: "Just so you know, I'm terrible at this."
You're not. You've just never been guided.
I'll direct the entire thing — where to put your shoulders, what to do with your hands, when to take a breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Between prompts, the real expressions show up, and those are the ones you'll choose. The compliment I get most often in my reviews is how at ease people felt, and that includes plenty who arrived dreading it.

Consistent, warm headshots for your whole team, photographed on site and scheduled so it barely interrupts the workday. Tell me how many people and I'll map out the morning.

Do you have a studio?
No — I bring one to you. Portable studio lighting and backdrops set up at your office, clinic or workplace anywhere in the Tri-Cities.
What should I wear for a headshot?
Solid colors near your face photograph best. Avoid busy patterns and large logos. Bring two or three options and I'll help you choose when I arrive.
How long does a headshot session take?
Usually under an hour for an individual. Team sessions depend on headcount — most teams are done in a morning.
Do you retouch headshots?
Gently and honestly. A blemish, a stray hair, a collar sitting oddly. What I won't do is smooth you into someone else — you should still look like you on a very good day.
Do I need a headshot or a branding session?
If you need one great portrait, a headshot. If you need a library of images of you, your work and your space, that's branding.
Can you photograph our whole team in one visit?
Yes, and that's usually how it's done. Send me a headcount and I'll build a schedule around your workday.
